The Three days of Darkness is a promised chastisement revealed by Heaven to several mystics. This is a consequence of the cesspool of immorality, unfaithfulness, sacrileges, indifferences, outrages, immoral laws, ingratitude of humanity and more both from within the Catholic Church and external. Heaven has asked us to be vigilant and ready with our 100% Bees Wax Candles and more.
For every choice made, there is a consequence – good or bad. Our civilisation is on a collision course to a chastisement event that the world has never see – the Three Days of Darkness. For those who have ears to hear, take heed and commence your preparation. Whilst this is a dire warning, Heaven has provided us with the means to survive the Three Days of Darkness.

I also quote Blessed Anna Maria Taigi; Blessed Elizabeth Canori Mora; Blessed Sister Elena Aioli; and Marie-Julie Jahenny who were the main recipients of this horrific event. Why must there be a Three Days of Darkness?
Chastisements released upon humanity is nothing new, we can read these in the Bible for example the flood that would destroy the wickedness of humanity (Genesis 6-8); Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19); and the many other tribulations that God sent or allowed upon the wicked people and nations.
Moving away from the Bible, the world has been devastated by many natural and human made disasters including revolutions, wars, amongst many. Our Lady of Fatima (May – October1917) warned the world through three children – St Jacinta, St Francisco and Sister Lucia; that the world would be stricken with a world war should humanity not amend their way. Why would our world be any different? Reflect for a moment on the state of our world – millions of aborted babies; confusion on gender; iniquitous laws such as “homosexual marriage”, laws that permit the murder of the terminally ill i.e. euthanasia; the acceptance and continued practice of contraception; promiscuity; celebration of sin through immoral parades, movies, television shows; cohabitation; divorce; IVF and much more.
The collapse of moral customs is legion in our world and like the people of old, God has no choice, should we not alter our course of action, but to send just deserved chastisements. Like a Father and Mother reprimand their child when they disobey them, then God will do the same. The Three Days of Darkness chastisement seems a fitting punishment for our wayward and corrupt world. In this article, I will go through the requirements for the Three Days of Darkness based on private revelations to above mentioned recipients along with Catholic devotions that are essential for assisting each of us on our journey to Heaven.
As a Catholic and Christian, we are called to be ready at all times as instructed by Our Lord in the Scriptures such as the Parable of the Ten Virgins (St Matthew 25: 1-12); in another Parable on gathering riches it concludes with the following:
“But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you; and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’ So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” (St Luke 12:20–21).
Therefore, the Scriptures are clear that we are required to be ready and not to leave our eternal destiny to the last minute. I will go through twelve essentials in preparation for the Three Days of Darkness, however there are a few ongoing spiritual and physical preparations. These are all equal importance; however, the needs of the spirit (or soul) supersede those of the body for the Our Lord says:
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell”. (St Matthew 10:28).
Killing the soul will result in both the body and soul (united on the final judgement) in Hell (Ghenna).
In addition, the revelations to the mystics on the Three Days of Darkness provide for important requirements to those who have ears to listen and act.
Here are the essential requirements in preparation for the Three Days of Darkness.
Essentials (Ongoing)
12. Food and Water
Eat a well-balanced nutritious diet and consume an adequate amount of water. Avoid excessive amounts of food, fatty foods, and alcohol. DO NOT USE ANY UNPRESCRIBED DRUGS! (This does not include medications required for health reasons and prescribed by your Physician). For the Three Days of Darkness ensure an adequate food and water supply for at least four weeks (a year is also advisable).
11. Sleep and Activity
The body is designed to work and rest. God ordained the Sabbath for a day of rest and in giving worship to Him. Created in the Image and Likeness of God, and in keeping with the Third Commandment – Keep Holy the Sabbath, we are called to do likewise.
A good night sleep, along with adequate rest is essential for our ongoing wellbeing. In addition, we should attempt to regulate our activities through movement whether through exercise or walking or incidental movements around the home i.e. gardening, improvements, upkeep of property etc. In other words, not being lazy and being alter.
The Three Days of Darkness will be demanding both on the spirit and the body. We may not be able to rest for a second. Following the Three Days of Darkness, the state of the world (should we survive) may require all our energies to get through some very challenging scenarios.
10. Remain always in God’s Grace
This is challenging in any generation but for our generation where temptation abounds and as fallen nature, we are subject to the concupiscence of the flesh, that is, a tendency to be tempted and fall. However, Our Lord through the Catholic Church has provided us with the means to remain in God’s presence – God’s Grace.
How can we remain in God’s Grace?
These recommendations are based on the Catholic Church’s teaching and help us fulfill our Baptismal promises and the Creed to be members of God’s church; a royal Priesthood; we, who die for Christ and no longer live for ourselves; and top defend the faith we are born into through our Baptism (CCC 1267-1270).
To remain on this path, we are called to practice our faith daily. As we are strengthened by the practice for our next sporting event or exam, we must consistently prepare, so does our soul require preparation for the daily (and the Three Days of Darkness) spiritual challenges.
The following are highly recommended means by which we can remain in God’s Grace (NB: this does not guarantee us Heaven but assists us on our journey and in dealing with spiritual attacks and bodily temptations.)
- Regular Examination of Conscience (daily is highly recommended).
Our day-to-day lives will bring about many temptations and spending a few minutes at night reflecting on our thoughts, deeds and actions will help us make a confession pleasing to God and be better Catholics towards God and neighbour.
- Regular Confession (weekly to monthly, or when highly necessary).
A valid and good confession invites God back into our soul i.e. Grace. A weekly or monthly confession is highly advisable, however each time a mortal sin is committed i.e. a sin that falls under the following criteria, needs to be confessed ASAP.
- Grave Matter.
- Knowledge of the Grave Matter.
- Full Consent.

- Weekly Mass as a minimum and Holy Days of Obligation.
Like food and water is nourishment for the body, receiving in a state of Grace the Body and Blood of Jesus under the appearance of the consecrated Bread, the soul needs to be nourished. This is the highest form of worshipping God as required by the Third Commandment. A weekly Sunday Mass attendance keeps us in fulfillment of our obligation and observance of the Divine Law and the Church (ecclesial) Law.
A daily (or as often as you can) Mass attendance is encouraged.
9. Daily Prayer
Communication is essential as human beings for we were not meant to be alone. God created a woman for the man, as God said that it was not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2: 18-24). Therefore, we are created to communicate and how we communicate with God, the Saints and the Angels, is through prayer that Jesus taught – the Our Father (St Matthew 6: 9-13).
The development of prayer over centuries through Divine Private revelation has handed us the Most Holy Rosary. First handed to St Dominic in order to combat the Albagensisim heresy of the 13th Century, the Rosary has been a spiritual weapon in combatting many evils. Our Lady at Fatima requested the daily recitation of the Rosary. The Rosary contains a scriptural reflection on the life of Jesus whilst praying the Angelic Salutation – Mary’s Psalter (150 Ave Marias).

8. Wear approved Devotional Medals and Scapular
The wearing of medals and the Brown Scapular that are approved by the Catholic Church is an spiritual armour against the battle for St Paul reminds us that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against fallen angels (Ephesians 6:11–17). 7. Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart of Mary image or statue at home.
Jesus requested through St Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-1690) in the seventeenth century that the king of France consecrate the nation of France to His Sacred Heart to avoid the persecutions of French Revolution. The Sacred Heart devotion comes with promises and Jesus’ protection.
In addition, to the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary has been given to us for our generation.
Recommended statues and Images of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary:
The revelations to Marie-Julie Jahnney speak of the Sacred Heart devotio.n will be largely forgotten by future generations. Our Lady to Marie-Julie Jahenny on September 1874:
“The Blessed Virgin said that only by prayer and penance will we be saved. Pray especially to the Sacred Heart.”
And on April 12, 1880:
“I see in the sun that at the time of the suppression of the works of God, there will be a fury (relentless) of hell against the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Already they do not want to recognize or respect this devotion.
They do not want to admit that through this, God is able to make the peace (to come) more peaceful. This devotion, in the heart of this place where it exists, will be pursued with relentless fury just up to the point they will admit, if they can, that men will not be able to save the world (that is) in peril.
I see that the kingdom and the true faith in the Divine Heart will be much weakened at the moment when men will triumph (as they like) and that the Divine Heart seems to expect (or wait) with a great effort to show the true promise of Its power.”
The devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as a final remedy, is stated by Sister Lucia (Our Lady of Fatima) in an interview she gave to Father Augustin Fuentes (1957):
“… that God is giving two last remedies to the world: the Holy Rosary and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. And, being the last remedies, that is to say, they are the final ones, means that there will be no others. …”
God will exhaust every possible means to turn back the lost sheep before sending a just chastisement.
Have in each house an image or statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Ensure that they are blessed by a Catholic Priest and that the appropriate devotions are practiced. To secure yourself an image or statues, below are recommendations from suppliers.
6. A Blessed Crucifix
Our Lord died on the Cross, our faith is represented by the Crucifix, therefore a Crucifix depicting the Body of Jesus on a Cross is highly essential, as we are Catholics. Ensure that a Catholic Priest blessed the Crucifix.

Having these images, or statues and Crucifix provides focus of prayer and meditation. These during the Three Days of Darkness will be our comfort and refuge.
Note: Catholics DO NOT worship statues. We worship and honour the person they represent. Reminder that God commissioned angles (Cherubim) be erected on both sides of the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 25: 18-19).
In addition, to placing a Crucifix in a prayer place, a St Benedict Cross or medal is recommended at the front and back of the house. Ensure these St Benedict Medals or Cross as appropriately blessed (see article on the St Benedict Medal).
5. A Quality Catholic Bible
Every Catholic should have a Catholic Bible at home for their spiritual reading. I would recommend the following:
- Douay-Rheims Bible, and / or,
- Revised Standard Version (RSV) Catholic Bible (2nd Edition).
These two Bibles provide good translations. The Douay-Rheims Bible has been translated from the Latin Vulgate of St Jerome and is accurate, however one drawback is the English is somewhat old-English using ‘Thee, thou, etc’. The RSV Catholic 2Nd Edition is a good translation and is easier to read.
I would recommend having both for comparison.

4. Prayer resources and other devotions
During the Three Days of Darkness the situation will require many prayers and apart from the Holy Rosary, the Bible, a quality prayer resource is fitting.
In addition, acquire Holy Salt and Holy Water. Ensure that they are blessed by a Catholic Priest and sprinkle in the house and the around the perimeter of the house. These have been known to ward off evil spirits. Below are some recommendations of prayer resources and salts.
3. Secure your windows from the outside and animals (pets)
Ensure your acquire block-out curtains or panels to keep windows sealed from outside view. Have them measured out and ready to go at a moment’s notice.
Suggest practicing as a drill to see how long it will take to have them secured.
In addition, ensure your animals or pets have with plenty of food and water and are sheltered. It has been said that animals with homes that are faithful, devoted and chosen by God will be spared.
Here is what Marie-Julie Jahenny revealed:
“Our Lady:
“The Earth will be covered in darkness, and Hell will be loosed on Earth. The thunder and lightning will cause those who have no faith or trust in my Power, to die of fear.
During these three days of terrifying darkness, no windows must be opened, because no one will be able to see the earth and the terrible colour it will have in those days of punishment without dying at once…The sky will be on fire, the earth will split… During these three days of darkness let the blessed candle be lighted everywhere, no other light will shine… “ (September 20, 1882).
Again:
“No one outside a shelter… will survive. …” (December 8, 1882).
And a further promise where the Image of Our Lady is in the homes:
“ …Here is a proof of my goodness, those who make me well served and invoke me, and that will keep in their homes my blessed image, I will keep safely all that belongs to them. During these three days, I will protect their cattle from starvation. I will keep because them because there must not be a single door ajar. The hungry animals shall be satisfied by me, without any food.” (unknown year).
2. Blessed 100% Bees Wax Candles
The 100% Bees Wax requirement comes directly from the Heaven.
Why 100% Bees Wax Candles?
The candle is to have no additives and only 100% Bees Wax. This analogous with the pure and unblemished lamb that was sacrificed at the Passover, the unblemished Son of God who sacrificed Himself for our redemption, therefore it follows that a natural unblemished candle that give light (the light of Christ) is to be used during the Three Days of Darkness. Below are two revelations on the Two Days of Darkness which will precede the Three Days of Darkness.
“There will be two days of horrible darkness, distinct from those advertised (I.e., different from the 3 days). The sky will be purple and red, so low that the clump of tall trees will be as lost. These two days will warn you, as an authentic proof of His goodness, as proof of descent from the wrath of God on earth.
You will not be free from the darkness. So far, no soul has mentioned it, because those are not many who were made aware.
To resist all these signs, holy water is a strength and consolation, and the candle, but with wax.
All those that are not of this paste will not help. (i.e., must be 100% pure wax.)
There will be three days of physical darkness.
For three nights and two days, there will be a continual night. The blessed wax candles can only give light to this horrible darkness: only one will suffice for three days, but in the homes of the wicked, they will give no clarity. The lightning will enter your homes, but will not extinguish the candles, neither wind nor storm cannot put them out. …”
The following is a revelation of warning signs to take note of:
“The Lord “will give His warnings by nature, at the beginning of each year.”
“Two days of darkness outside the three days of punishment. Only the blessed wax candles will light.”
“The Flame (of the Holy Spirit) says that in the designs of the Lord, there will be two days of horrible darkness, separate from the three days that many souls have announced. The sky will be purple and red; it will be so low that a clump of tall trees will be lost within it, up to a quarter of the tallest trees. These two days will tell (or foretell) and be as a genuine cachet of Goodness, (i.e., they remind us the Three Days of Darkness are coming) but will also be the descent of God in His wrath on the earth. You will not be free from the darkness …
During these two days the trees will be burned and will not produce any fruit the following year, because the sap will be burned and stopped. The rain that falls from the sky below will have a foul odour, and wherever it falls, it will be as a big hailstone of fire that pierces that which is most solid and will leave a visible mark of burning.
Your homes will be preserved. Only that which is covered lightly will suffer. (i.e., of weak construction.)
“The water that will be poured on the earth will be black, a frightening black and most of the land will bear it equally everywhere, but it will not hurt that which serves as food to the Christians.”
“The Flame said that in Brittany, in these two days of darkness, under the lowering sky, it will seem light, but no one will be able to see, because they cannot put out their face by day when opening a door; there will be an envoy of God, in the form of a hot flash, which will obscure the human eye. “
“The Lord is urging me to pass on His words and His wishes. The day of these darknesses will still be bearable, despite the darkness … But if the day is calm, the night will be violent, and during the two nights, cries will come out where they know not, they will hear nothing, nor walk on earth, covered with Justice. At night, the blessed candle, the candle should not be put out. During the day, they will be able to go without it, a grace that comes from beyond the Heart of God.”
NB: Marie-Julie was warned in another ecstasy that the candles must be of pure wax, (100% beeswax is the optimum material). Candles mixed with anything else WILL NOT LIGHT.
Amongst the number of mystics that have prophecised this chastisement include Blessed Anna Maria Taigi of Rome (1769-1837) whom along with various predictions concerning the chastisements and the election of the Angelic Pontiff and the Great Monarch reveals the following on the Three Days of Darkness:
“God will send two punishments: one will be in the form of wars, revolutions and other evils; it shall originate on earth. The other will be sent from Heaven. There shall come over the whole earth an intense darkness lasting three days and three nights.
Nothing can be seen, and the air will be laden with pestilence which will claim mainly, but not only, the enemies of religion. It will be impossible to use any man-made lighting during this darkness, except blessed candles. During this alarm, the faithful should stay in their houses and recite the Rosary and beg God for Mercy. He, who out of curiosity, opens his window to look out, or leaves his home, will fall dead on the spot….”
Also St. Caspar (Jasper) del Bufalo (1786-1837) warns:
“The death of impenitent persecutors of the Church during the three days darkness. He who outlives the darkness and fear of the three days will think that he were alone on earth because of the fact that the world will be covered everywhere with cadavers….” (Yves Dupont, Catholic Prophecy, Tan Books and Publishers 197).

1. Practice Drills and Spread the word
Many will see you as superstitious and may not heed your message on the Three Days of Darkness, however, we all have a duty and obligation to inform those we love (our families and friends) and as many in our community.
I recommend the following:
Set aside a place in your home for prayer and resting (should this be possible). You may wish to have extended family with a plan to gather in one house as there will be signs from Heaven of the impending Three Days of Darkness much like an evacuation fire drill.
Practice these drills with family and assist them in preparation for the Three Days of Darkness. Have family or anyone else to your shelter upon the heavenly signs. If you plan on having family members and friends over your house to gather during these Three Days of Darkness, ensure you work out a system or drill for all to arrive in a timely manner and practice.
Know when to cover your windows and how long this will take.
Do not forget to be alert to the signs and to light the light the 100%Bees Wax Candles.

A WORD OF WARNING:
DO NOT OPEN THE DOORS FOR ANYONE ONCE THE DARKNESS FALLS UPON THE WORLD.

THIS IS A DECEPTION!
Pray the Rosary together and many other prayers.
The Three Days of Darkness will be horrific and nothing like we will have witnessed naturally or unnaturally in our time. Not even a hurricane will be close. Fear will strike you and many family members, it is important to keep faith, calm and focused on prayer. Remain in the one area.
Do Not look outside.
In summary,
The world is in a dire situation and we can alter our destination, but we need to amend our ways and turn to God. We have been warned on many occasions to turn away from sin, do penance and pray the Holy Rosary. Should God send the world a Three Days of Darkness in order to chastise us, then this punishment will be deserved for our failure to heed the warnings. God is merciful, but our generation has forgotten that God is also just.
Our Lady, protect and pray for us.
Lord Jesus, have mercy on us.
